Solar Installation Pricing – Frequently Asked Questions
Does the installation price include a Certificate of Compliance (COC)?
Yes. All our installation labour prices include a valid Electrical Certificate of Compliance (COC), issued once the system has been installed, tested, and approved.
Is this the total cost of going solar?
The prices shown cover installation labour only.
Solar equipment such as panels, inverters, batteries, and mounting hardware are quoted separately based on your requirements.
Why is installation priced as a range and not a fixed amount?
Every home or business is different. Roof layout, electrical board configuration, and system size can affect installation time.
The pricing ranges give you a realistic expectation, with final pricing confirmed after assessment.
Do you install systems purchased elsewhere?
Yes. We can install customer-supplied equipment, provided it meets safety and compliance requirements, we do however charge a slightly higher rate if equipment is supplied elsewhere, we would much rather try and compete with your pricing from other suppliers and keep everything in house.
How long does installation take?
Most residential solar installations are completed within 1 to 2 days.
Larger residential or commercial systems may take longer depending on system size.
Will my power be interrupted during installation?
Yes, but only briefly. Any power interruption is kept to a minimum and will be communicated clearly before work begins.
Do you handle municipal or Eskom compliance?
We install systems according to South African electrical standards.
Where required, we assist with the documentation needed for municipal or utility compliance.
Can my system be upgraded later?
Absolutely. We design systems to be scalable, allowing for additional panels or batteries in the future.
How do I get an exact price for my property?
Simply request a quote. We’ll assess your needs and provide a clear, all-inclusive proposal.
