FAQ – 5kW System
Q: Can this run a kettle or microwave?
A: A 5kW system can handle appliances like a microwave and kettle in moderation, depending on what else is running at the same time.
Q: Will it run my geyser?
A: A standard electric geyser is usually too large to run efficiently on smaller systems. If required, we can quote a geyser timer / solar diversion / heat pump solution.
Q: Can this power the whole house?
A: It can back up a large portion of the home, but whole-house backup depends on total load and DB configuration. Most clients choose essential loads + selected plugs.
Q: Can I upgrade to Sunsynk/Deye?
A: Yes — we can swap to premium inverter/battery brands at the same system capacity.
Q: What happens when the battery is flat?
A: The system automatically uses available PV first and grid power when required.
